For Children

… at Church

We hope to re-start our  Crossroads service before too long.    Please watch this space! Previouisly this has taken place  on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month and we will post times and dates as possible.   With our Messy Church style craft based activities, worship is suitable to all ages.

During our normal services there is space to the side and back of the church for young children to be entertained with toys, colouring.. etc.

2nd Swanwick St Andrew’s Brownies

We meet in the Old School House at 6.00 pm on term-time Tuesdays and have a full energetic unit of girls and leaders.
Brownies are girls aged seven to ten who become a member of a Six and follow the guiding programme working towards Skills Builders, Interest Badges and Unit Meeting Activities to complete six themes. Brownies opens up a world of exciting challenges and the opportunity to try new things and to make brilliant friends. Through regular meetings, special events, day trips, sleepovers and holidays. Brownies learn new hobbies, play music, explore other cultures and get adventurous outdoors. Our unit was first registered in 1944 and has continued to flourish from that time. Over the years’ uniform, programme and changes to the wording of the promise have been updated to keep what Guiding offers relevant to today’s girls.
